WHY WILL WE CONTINUE TO MARCH?

Even with the wonderful blessing of Roe v. Wade being overturned, which allows more freedom at the state level to enact pro-life laws, the necessary work to build a culture that affirms life.

• On June 24th, 2022, we witnessed the historic overturning of Roe v Wade
• EMA aborton facilty in Louisville is now up for sale!
• We celebrated the first-year anniversary of the laws in Kentucky protecting the sanctity of life from August 1, 2022 to August 1, 2023, the only abortions that have taken place in the Commonwealth were to save the life of the mother.

We rejoice today, yet remain vigilant, continuing to witness the reality and the extent abortion providers will go in order to sustain their horrific industry, which they disguise as “women’s reproductive health”.

In Post Roe Kentucky, while Planned Parenthood’s abortion facilities are closed:

• They now actively make referrals and assist girls and women with travel to out-of-state facilities.
• ACLU and Planned Parenthood have pledged to bring a new case and challenge before the Courts.
• Illinois is placing abortion facilities just across our state lines and aggressively marketing to vulnerable Kentucky girls and women.
• Other countries are marketing and shipping “multipacks” of chemical abortion pills into our state that supply Kentucky girls with dangerous Do-It-Yourself, “3 Abortion-Kill Packs” (which is a kit for upto 3 in-home abortions).

We are working diligently on all fronts as some states not only want to become “Abortion Destinations”, but others are advertising as “Destination States for Assisted Suicide”.

Last, our most important work is changing hearts and minds. The State March and Rally is opportunity for anyone to learn about the principles of effective advocating for the specific and current issues Kentucky is facing, and what you can do right now to champion life-affirming policies to your Kentucky elected representatives. The Rally and March are suited for all ages groups.
