January 02, 2024 At the Capitol – Kentucky Lawmakers Gavel in Frankfort!

On Tuesday, January 2, 2024, the Kentucky House and Senate will sound the gavel convening the 2024 60 Day General Assembly Session.  Kentucky Right to Life has been working with lawmakers on legislative initiatives for the 2024 Session.

During the Session, the public can follow the Legislative Committee meetings and House and Senate Chambers, find the contact information for your Senator or Representative via the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission website.

Over the Interim KRTL has been engaged with legislators working on legislative priorities for 2024. We are excited to see several developing bills/legislation that expands support for vulnerable women and the unborn.

The first day to officially file bills in the house and senate is January 2, 2024.
