Kentucky Right to Life Joins Susan B Anthony Pro-Life America and a National Coalition Urging DOJ to Stop Siding with Abortion Drug Industry

Kentucky Right to Life is honored to stand alongside Susan B. Anthony ProLife America and 77 ProLife organizations across the nation in a letter sent today to Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche, urging the Department of Justice to stop siding with the abortion drug industry against ProLife states.

The letter calls on the DOJ to respect the rights of states working to protect women and unborn children from the documented risks and harms associated with abortion drugs.

“States like Louisiana, Florida, Texas, Missouri, Idaho, and Kansas have taken legal action to defend their citizens and uphold their laws,” said Addia K. Wuchner, Executive Director of Kentucky Right to Life. “Yet the Department of Justice has previously moved to dismiss these cases, effectively siding with the abortion drug industry rather than the states seeking to protect life and ensure accountability.”

The multi-state legal efforts challenge policies by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that expand access to abortion drugs in ways that undermine state laws and weaken longstanding safety protocols.

“Kentucky Right to Life remains committed to advancing policies that protect both women and the unborn,” Wuchner continued. “We stand in solidarity with these states and national partners in calling for justice, transparency, and respect for the rule of law.”
