FOR OVER 50 YEARS…

Because of your faithful prayers and support for more than 50 years, Kentucky Right to Life and our Right to Life Chapters throughout Commonwealth have stood as a voice for the voiceless — defending the dignity and sanctity of every human life from conception to natural death.

What began as a small but faithful movement of 

faith-filled and courageous women and med in cities and towns across Kentucky has become one of the strongest PROLIFE – PROFAMILY ministries and advocacy organizations in our Commonwealth.

Through prayer, education, compassionate outreach, public witness, and legislative advocacy, we have worked tirelessly alongside lawmakers, churches, families, pregnancy resource centers, students, medical professionals, and community leaders to help ensure Kentucky ranks among the most proLIFE states in our Nation.

Since August 1, 2022, abortions have been illegal in Kentucky. That victory represented decades of prayer, sacrifice, and perseverance by countless Kentuckians who believed every life is a gift from God.

Yet despite tremendous progress, our work is far from finished…

A SOBERING REALITY

While abortion facilities may no longer operate openly within our borders, the heartbreaking reality remains: every day, fragile unborn lives are still being lost.

Our upcoming State of Life in Kentucky Annual Report reveals a sobering truth. Through data reporting from neighboring states, we have already documented that more than 4,000 young Kentucky women have traveled primarily to Ohio and Illinois to end the lives of their unborn children.

These are not simply statistics on a page.

They represent:

• frightened young mothers,
• confused fathers,
• hurting families searching for hope,
• and babies whose lives will never be lived.



And they reveal something even deeper: the urgent need to reach hearts before a woman ever believes abortion is her only answer.

OUR WORK MUST GO BEYOND CHANGING LAWS

At Kentucky Right to Life, we believe the pro-life movement must always be more than opposition to abortion, assisted suicide, or the growing culture of death that diminishes the dignity of the human person.

We are called to proclaim the truth that every human person is created in the image and likeness of God — possessing inherent dignity, value, and purpose from conception to natural death.

The mission before us is not simply to change laws, but to help transform hearts and culture.

We are called to help build a culture of life — a counterculture of hope, love, truth, responsibility, and human dignity in a world that too often promotes isolation, fear, and disposability.

This mission is not simply political.

It is deeply human.

It is deeply spiritual.

And it is profoundly about love.

A mission and ministry of encounter, compassion, healing, education, truth, and authentic support for women, children, fathers, and families.

But what is exciting, is that in every community across the State – there are Right to Life Chapters -serving Christ, building the Culture of Life.
